In 2012, Krista left a successful, eight-year career with the Ontario government (where she was a Senior Policy Advisor) to pursue a more creative path. A lifelong interest in design, decor and style led to an “a-ha moment” during a home renovation while on maternity leave. It was then that she decided to follow her passion and become an Interior Designer, enrolling at the Academy of Design to study Interior Design, where she graduated with the President’s Award. Following the Academy of Design, Krista worked at a boutique residential design firm on House & Home’s A-List until starting Krista Mussell Design.
